In case you didn’t get the memo – or are too deep in quarantine that you’ve forgotten what day it is – today is Election Day, arguably the most important day of the year. This year, November 3rd is the day where anyone eligible to and registered to vote gathers at the polls and casts their vote for who they’d like to see lead our country for the next few years. It’s probably one of the most important days for you to be heard and voice what you want. This election is shaping up to be one of the most important elections to date with everything currently going on in our country, so I’ve rounded up a couple of tweets to inspire you today if you’re struggling with the decision to vote. It’s not too late to get to the polls, because your voice really does matter.
Today, let’s reclaim at least something: dignity, love for others, our future, the feeling of being proud to be an American. We’ve a lot of work ahead of us, but we can do it #together and it starts with your #vote.
So get out there + make it happen! Lets end this nightmare. /2

Today, 11.2.20, is a mystical day. All will be revealed regarding the hidden Trump voter, the shy Biden voter, the NPA, the red mirage, the blue mirage, and polling bias. The overwhelming suspense is like watching the appearance of a rare species on the nature channel. #VOTE

My grandmother was 3 when women in America were given the right to vote in 1920. She is 103 now as we enter today. She reminds me how far we have come, how imperfect we have been and to never take for granted the right to #Vote

It’s #ElectionDay.
You can vote for the party which has tried to stop people from voting more than they tried to stop people from dying from Covid-19, or the party that wants people to vote and wants to end Covid-19 responsibly.
GO VOTE and Stay in line!

Dear young millennials/GenZ (‘95-‘02) in Washoe County:
There’s about 40,634 of you who are registered to vote and only about 57.71% (23,449) of you have at this point.
Get out and #vote and make the change you want to see. (everyone else should too)

A lot of your friends, family, and timeline will be particularly on edge today and the next few days. Please proceed with compassion. This election cycle is soul sucking.
To those riddled with anxiety just like I am: you are not alone. Let’s breathe. Stay safe. ?

We can’t afford to put our heads in the sand and just not pay attention. But if you voted you did your part.
Take breaks from social media and consider setting a time limit for how much time you spend on various platforms.
