If you’re single and anything like me, you always want to know what exactly guys want. Of course, it’s hard to tell because everyone is different, but it’s nice to get a general idea. With that being said, I used the power of Twitter to ask about 50 REAL men what exactly they’re looking for. Surprisingly enough, they delivered with answers. I asked men questions that you always wanted to know, but couldn’t ask, so you didn’t have to.
When looking for a partner, there’s always something you’re looking for first. So the question that we have first: what’s the first thing you look for in a partner?
- “I look for personality because similar personalities lead to a positive compatibility”
- “I always look for a positive and optimistic attitude.”
- “The vibe I have with them. I don’t look for a relationship just for a relationship.”
- “They have to be able to make me laugh and support me when I need it.”
- “I like to look for their ambition and goals. They need to be someone who works hard.”
- “I need to be able to hold a good conversation with them. You need to be able to hold a conversation naturally.”
- “My partner needs to have a positive attitude towards the things they do.”
- “I always look to see if someone is passionate about others.”
- “I look for someone I can be comfortable with.”
- “The way she treats her friends and family is the first thing I look for.”
The second and last question is all about first impressions. Of course, a first impression can mean anything, especially when looking for a partner. The last question is: what’s the first thing you notice in a person?
- “The first thing I notice in a person is their smile.”
- “I notice their physical appearance first.”
- “Their voice. Their voices always stick with me.”
- “I always notice their eyes first.”
- “Body language sticks out the most.”
- “I always notice if they’re shy or open.”
- “The first thing I notice is energy. Can they match mine or not?”
- “I’m a sucker for smiles, so I notice a smile first.”
- “Their hair is the first thing I notice. Do they style it or not?”
- “Personality is the biggest factor in a person so I notice that first.”
