Now that the city has fallen asleep.
The stars showed up bright and early,
After the evil men asked us to leave.Â

Seeing the trains stop for the first time,
It made me finally see,
The world looked so pretty,
It looked so new,
And now I could finally sit and watch the clouds move.

Songs we sang for so long, fallen on deaf ears,
Songs we’ve rediscovered, after hundreds of years,
