It’s now officially Fall.  The leaves are starting to change color and the fall scented candles have already started to go on sale as they make way for Christmas scented ones.  So, in that spirit, I thought I’d share my Fall bucket list.  Hopefully, you can find some fun things on here that you can do as well! (all COVID friendly of course)

1. Painting Pumpkins

According to my Pinterest feed, carving pumpkins is old news.  The new thing to do is to paint your pumpkins.  You can paint them any color you want in order to fit in with whatever your fall decor theme is. I think I’m going to try and hop on the black and white pumpkin trend this year.

2. Watch Fall Movies

There’s nothing like a fall-themed movie to really get you in the spirit.  The ones I plan on watching are more Halloween related but they still fit with the season, those include Hocus Pocus, The Addams Family, and The Nightmare Before Christmas (I’m not a fan of scary movies).

3. Bake a pie

Over quarantine, I’ve been doing a lot more baking than usual. However, I haven’t made any pies yet. I think fall is the perfect time to start baking pies though; there’s nothing like a good apple pie.

4. Hiking

While the weather is getting cooler it makes for some lovely scenery.  I plan on taking a hike in order to see all the fall colors on the trees and get outside before it’s too cold to do so later in the year.

I hope this gave you some fun ideas for how you can spend your fall season in a safe way. All of the activities, except for the hiking, can be done at home with a fall scented candle burning while you drink hot chocolate or apple cider.
