There are hundreds of things we can do at home while self-isolating, but what is better than laying in bed and watching great TV shows? These TV shows will keep you entertained for weeks…Or days if you binge them all like I did.Â
- Tiger King
-
Tiger King is the most recent phenomena on Netflix. It is a wild show about people who own exotic animals such as camels, lions and bears. Some even make money off their animals by allowing customers to pet them and play with them. However, the documentary takes a dark twist when feuds turn into legal battles and someone ends up in jail. The show exposes a different world that not many people knew existed in America.
- Money HeistÂ
-
This Spanish TV show is a thrill. A mastermind gathers a group of highly skilled delinquents who can pull off his grand plan of stealing millions of dollars. The show keeps the watcher at the edge of their seat the entire time. If you can get past having to read subtitles, it is a highly entertaining show. Watchers will want to binge the entire series in one night because of how exciting it is.
- EliteÂ
-
This show has been titled the Spanish Gossip Girl. Overly privileged teenagers who behave like they are adults. They run their private school and their lives are changed when scholarship students arrive at the university to shake things up. A girl is murdered and the entire first season is dedicated to try to find out who the killer is. A plus is that all the characters are gorgeous human beings.
- Gilmore GirlsÂ
-
If you are from a small town, this show might be the perfect reminder of home. If you are from a big city like me, Gilmore Girls is a cute insight into what living in a small town might look like. Mother-daughter Lorelai and Rory are best friends. They are there for each other through every difficult life experience. Along with Rory’s wealthy grandparents who never stop judging the world, and Luke who provides the two protagonists with all the junk food they are constantly eating.
- Love is Blind
-
I am the first person to discourage people from watching reality TV, but this show is the exception. It is a must-watch on Netflix. Strangers are put in an experiment to test whether love truly is blind (even though most of them are gorgeous). Strangers have conversations/dates for weeks in pods where they cannot see one another. Eventually, they will all hopefully be engaged. The show is very short given that participants get married within weeks. It is hilarious and a train wreck.
