With the recent events of corona, everyone is inside. You would think us introverts would be thriving. Quite the opposite.
- We Are Bored Without Our Friends
-
What’s the fun of watching a movie or playing a game if you have to do it alone? Just because we are introverts doesn’t mean we don’t get lonely.
- We Want to See Real People
-
Dogs and cats can’t have conversations. Facetime and texting only does so much. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
- Too Much Time
-
With all this free time you would think we would get hobbies. Instead it’s watching the same Netflix show all day. The same show you’ve rewatched 10 times.Â
- We Aren’t Really Alone Anymore
-
Moving out of your dorm room to go back to a full house is a big downgrade. There’s no alone time. Someone always there. People you are stuck with for months. People you are forced to be with. Worst thing ever. (Still love you Mom.)
- Staying Home Before was a Choice
-
There’s a big difference between wanting to stay home and being forced to stay home by the government. Now I want to go out more than ever. Never have I wanted to go on a car ride than now. Please I want to see another person who isn’t my family.
Everyone is struggling during these hard times. Introverts included. What was thought of as paradise is actually Hell.
