Give your high school and college students

A chance to mourn the loss of their

Hopes and dreams of the semester.

Once the sprout of a new seed started,

Watered by the hopes of the new year.

The garden was once filled with many flowers,

Many snowflakes and irises softly dance in the wind,

But now the garden is barren, gone are all the flowers,

The buzzing bees, the calming wind.

What’s left is an aimless wind.

Let your high school and college students

Grieve for the lost moments we hold so dearly.

A separation of chosen family,

Tied together by a red string of love.

The wisp of potential memory,

A semester of education, all gone.
