With the latest pandemic resulting in a global lockdown, many people (including myself) are wondering what exactly they’re going to do with all their free time at home. While scrolling through social media may seem tempting, after a while it can be a bit unproductive. Personally, I plan on spending my self-isolation trying to stay away from complete unproductivity, so in my spare time I’m going to focus on reading. For people who might be a little unsure as to what to read during this time, here are some of my recommendations:

a bunch of books

‘Educated’ by Tara Westover

‘Outliers’ by Malcolm Gladwell

‘Blink’ by Malcolm Gladwell

‘Go Ask Alice’ by Beatrice Sparks

‘The Undoing Project’ by Michael Lewis

Even though self-isolation is tedious, it’s an important step to ensure that the current situation doesn’t escalate. Reading offers a productive and fun pastime during this time!
