And repeat after me, this year I vow to:

- Put myself first and value my own goals, dreams and accomplishments

- Accept that I am on the right path and understand I am exactly where I need to be in life

- Live my life according to me, and me only

- Run at every opportunity and push myself to new limits

- Look at myself in the mirror with pure happiness and pride

- Be present and fully engaged

- Not let the obstacles and adversity of life damage me or reflect my self-worth

- Generate a feeling of “new” and walk away from those who do not bring me joy

- Spend time with those who matter the most to be

- Treat everyday like it is the last and live life to its fullest potential

However, before we cherish what can be this fast approaching new year, we must learn to live and let go of the past. Instead of carrying a resolution on our shoulders, create affirmations- live by affirmations that welcome the upcoming months. Have goals. Yet, curate manifestations of the mind.
