Eating vegan this Thanksgiving can actually be a lot easier than you may expect. Keep reading to learn more about how!
Turkey Alternatives
Though we believe you can have a delicious Thanksgiving meal without Turkey as the main dish, there are a ton of vegan roasts on the market which are surprisingly good. If you’re the one cooking this Thanksgiving, try out one of these turkey alternatives!

Mashed Potatoes
Mashed potatoes are easily “veganized” – with simple swaps like dairy-free butter and plant milks. Though any plant milk will work, our favorite to use for mashed potatoes is the So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut Milk. This will give your mashed potatoes a nice creamy texture, without giving it a nutty flavor (like almond milk or cashew milk may). As for the “butter”, any vegan butter will work, but we love the Miyokos Vegan Butter. It’s palm oil-free and melts just like regular butter! So don’t worry – you can still enjoy your mashed potatoes this Thanksgiving by simply “veganizing” them!

Gravy
You can’t have mashed potatoes without gravy! There are so many different recipes out there for vegan gravy. Here are some of our favorites that you should try!

Stuffing
Of course when it comes to vegan stuffing, you’ll be making it in a casserole or baking dish instead of actually inside the turkey (ew!) Your stuffing recipe may be very easily “veganized”! If it calls for chicken broth, swap it out with some vegetable broth. If it calls for butter, use some vegan butter. If you’ve never made your own stuffing before and you’re looking for some vegan recipes, we’ve got you! Here are some delicious vegan stuffing recipes:

Veggies

Rolls & Butter
You can’t forget the rolls and butter on Thanksgiving! Many store-bought rolls are vegan (just be sure to watch out for any milk or egg ingredients!!) and there are a variety of vegan butters available. If you want to make your own rolls, try these Vegan Dinner Rolls! And like we mentioned earlier, there’s a variety of butters – like Miyokos, Earth Balance, Flora, and I can’t believe its not Butter!
