With the cold weather fast approaching, it can be tempting to stay inside when you’re trekking around campus. On the weekends, it may be especially hard to find fun things to do with your friends apart from staying in your dorm room. If you’re looking for those fun and fresh things to fill up your fall, this list is for you!
- Visit the Rock Climbing Wall
-
Have you ever wanted to climb up a really tall wall or boulder to your heart’s content? Whether you have been there before or not at all, the rock climbing wall in the Duncan Student Center is a fantastic way to (pumpkin) spice things up this fall. Not only is it a fun form of exercise, but it is a great way to meet new people. If you want to go all the way, you can even join the ND Rock Club and go on trips almost every month to climb real rocks!
- See a Movie at the Browning Cinema
-
I don’t know about you guys, but when I see the Week@ND in my email, the first thing I check is which movies at the Browning Cinema that week. They have everything from fascinating documentaries to critically acclaimed feature films for inexpensive student prices. This is also a great way to get friends together this fall.
- Grab a Coffee at Sorin’s at the Morris Inn
-
In my opinion, the best coffee on campus is found in the Morris Inn at Sorin’s. I can’t make this up—the coffee is high-quality, and while it may seem strange to get coffee at the campus’ hotel, when you really need a good cup of joe, this is where to go. Grab a couple of friends or a professor and head over to their gorgeous fire pit for the best cup of coffee you will have on Notre Dame’s campus.
Doing any one of these three activities is guaranteed to liven up the fall season!
