If you’re like me, and you love coffee, then you can understand how boring it gets going to Starbucks over and over again. Sometimes it’s nice to change up the scenery and try something new and different. I’ve decided to make a list of my top 5 favorite cafes that I’ve been to in Eugene, and hopefully you will try them out as well!Â
1. Tailored Coffee Roasters

Tailored Coffee is a new and trendy cafe, that has a modern aesthetic. If you’re looking for “instagramabale” food, this is the place to be. Not only is the coffee really good, but their food takes an elevated spin on a standard cafe. I would recommend trying the peanut butter & banana toast, the yogurt with granola, and the Tzatziki yogurt with hard boiled eggs and toast.Â
2. Coffee Plant RoasterÂ

Coffee Plant has a modern and welcoming environment. The cafe also makes homemade granola bars and pastries. I would recommend the avocado toast or the breakfast burrito.
3. Meraki Coffee
1203 Willamette St Suite 120, Eugene, OR 97401

Meraki is pretty new, but is already one of my places to study and hang out at. The cafe has beautiful artwork and decor, and has a seating area with couches. I would recommend getting the avocado toast. Â
4. Vero Espresso
205 E 14th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401

Vero Espresso has a very warm and welcoming vibe, that feels just like you’re at your grandma’s house. The cafe has a very diverse menu, with breakfast, lunch, smoothies, and coffee.
5. Espresso Roma
825 E 13th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401

Espresso Roma is the perfect place to go after class, since it’s located so close to the university. The people there are very friendly, and it has some of the best pastries. I would recommend the apple fritter.Â
