Halloween is only a few days away, and everybody knows what that means… Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s are right around the corner. With the cooler weather and holidays rolling in, there is almost guaranteed indoor downtime. Just in time for the winter weather and relaxation, Netflix will be filling the homes of many with all of their new additions coming in Nov. With the introduction of new streaming services, including AppleTV and even Disney Plus, Netflix has had to step their game up and they are not ready to disappoint.
With the gradual transition from spooky Halloween movies and gut-wrenching horror films to heartwarming holiday films filled with magic, love and hope, Netflix has added every sort of film on the spectrum in between those extremes. You are sure to find something you want to watch!

Starting off, on Nov. 1, Netflix will be releasing their much-anticipated original film, The King, starring Oscar-nominated actor, Timothée Chalamet (pictured above). In this film, Chalamet works alongside Robert Pattinson and Joel Edgerton to tell the story of King Henry V of England. Set in medieval times and filled with political intrigue, it is sure to have soaring ratings. Watch the final trailer here.
One of America’s most beloved stars, Joan Cusack, will be starring in Netflix’s newest holiday-themed original, Klaus. Klaus is an animated, star-studded film with big-name actors including Jason Schwartzman, J.K. Simmons and Rashida Jones. It centers around the life of a student of the postal office who is sent to an isolated arctic island. Find out what happens to Jasper (Schwartzman) when he meets Klaus on the island on Nov. 15 when it releases!

And, just about a week before Thanksgiving, Netflix will be releasing their third season of the award-winning show, The Crown. This show depicts the lavish lifestyle of Queen Elizabeth II from the 1940s until present day. Filled with drama, poise and historical fiction, it is sure to lure viewers in.
