my tired eyes are flooded with unshed tears.
they sit in my ducts waiting to be freed.
i yearn to cry until i cannot see.
my tongue is layered with unspoken fears.
theyā€™ve been waiting patiently for years.
i long to spill my thoughts until they bleed.
my mind is crowded and wonā€™t let me be.
with your absence, my sanityā€™s unclear.
i wish to yank pain straight out of my head.
my heart is heavy and torn into two.
it beats to the tune of sadness and dread.
i need your love to make this heart anew.
with just a blink of an eye, you were dead.
because of this, i feel more than subdued.
