Everyone wants to be boo’d up these days. You see all these couples walking around campus, and it makes you want a boo for yourself. I’m here to tell you it is okay to be single; you will find love one day so don’t feel the need to rush things. When you’re single you have no one to answer to, you have the freedom to do what you want, and your focus is on you. In this article, I will be giving you tips on how you can be happy and single at the same time!

1. Take yourself out on a date!

Get ready, put on that bomb outfit that’s been sitting in your closet and take yourself out on a date. There’s nothing wrong with treating yourself every now and then. You don’t need a companion to go on a date. Tell yourself that you look good and buy yourself some flowers and dinner.

2. Spend time with the people who matter the most!

Spending time with friends and family is important, and sometimes we neglect those relationships. Romantic relationships aren’t the only relationships we should cater to. We should show appreciation to our friends and/or family members as well. Take a vacay with your crew, exploring new territories and creating awesome memories. Make a reservation at a restaurant that your parents always wanted to go to and have bonding time. It’s always good to surround yourself with people who support and love you for you.

3. Focus on your passions!

Since your single, you have some free time to yourself. This is a great time for you to focus on your passions and perfect your craft. If you are an artist, you can take out the time to go explore and find some inspiration. If you have a guitar collecting dust in your space, you can finally start learning how to play. Whatever it is that you’re passionate about, take the time that you have to focus on those things. Your passions can’t walk out of your life; they’ll always be there.
