Mission ‘get my bag back’ has commenced.

Everyone  knows how to secure the bag but what happens when you don’t?

How to get that back bag:

  1. Step 1: Assess the problem. Whether you failed a test, flopped on the internship, or lost the girl/boy of your dreams, screwing up is human nature. What’s important is the preventative measures you take after the fact,  to prevent what I call, the double bag fumble.

  2. Step 2: Admit your faults. “I, (state your name) Madison Williams, have fumbled the bag and I am ready to right my wrongs.” Admitting your faults allows you to recognize your shortcomings and work up from there. At the end of the day, it’s not the end of the world. You CAN bounce back.

  3. Step 3: Reflect on your mistakes. After admitting your faults, you know exactly what you did wrong. Now reflect on your course of action and identify what you could’ve done differently. Now, if you ever find yourself in a similar position, you’ll know what to do.

  4. Step 4: Be nice to yourself. Yes you messed up but don’t beat yourself up about it. Each day you get a  new opportunity to be better so be conscious of that and take advantage of it.

  5. Step 5: Put your words to action. You probably spend all day posting on Instagram, SnapChat, and Twitter about  how every season is “your season” and how you plan to secure the bag; but then you don’t. In reality, you didn’t put in the work necessary to come remotely close to securing the bag and it showed! The bag doesn’t secure itself ladies and gentlemen!

These steps may sound synonymous with those of AA meetings, however, by  following my 5 step program, you will be on your way to reclaiming your bag!
