1. The FristÂ
This art museum in downtown Nashville has new exhibits often and is a fun place to explore! It is even free for college students on Thursdays and Fridays from 5-9 pm.Â
2. The Pedestrian BridgeÂ
This is a Nashville staple, and while it may not sound exciting, it’s definitely a place you should visit at least once before graduation. If you park by Nissan stadium you can park for free and then walk the bridge and enjoy the skyline, especially at night when everything is lit up.Â
3. Gaby’s Burgers and FriesÂ
This restaurant is close to campus and worth the ten minute drive to get there. They have really good food and while there’s not a lot of seating, it’s a fun place to go eat and look around at all the pictures on the walls and signs they put up.Â
4. Baja BurritoÂ
Baja is close to the Guitar Center on Thompson lane. They have amazing burritos and their fruit tea is also delicious! Again, it’s a smaller restaurant but they have lots of outdoor seating so you can enjoy your food on the patio.Â
5. Bobby’s Dairy DipÂ
This has been one of my favorite places to go in Nashville since my freshman year. They have delicious ice cream and their burgers are pretty good too! Bobby’s ice cream is definitely a must on a hot Nashville day.
Â
6. The Shoppes at FatherlandÂ
This area of cute shops provides a variety of options for people with various tastes. There are bookstores, gift stores, and natural beauty supply stores.Â
Â
7. Natchez Trace Parkway
This area has lots of hiking trails and also is a cute spot for pictures! If you love nature and are willing to take the drive, this place is definitely a must.Â
Â
8. Rudy’s Jazz RoomÂ
This hidden bar is a great place to listen to some live music. Unfortunately, you have to be 21 to get in and there is a cover, but the music is always great and the staff is super friendly.Â
