Morning! While you were sleeping (or staying up to binge-watch Friends for the tenth time, or pulling an all-nighter in the library), a few things went down that you’ll probably want to know about. So grab a cup of coffee, settle in, and get scrolling.
Rumor Has It
After shutting down her lifestyle website The Tig two years ago, it looks like Meghan Markle is heading back to her editorial roots.
Duchess Meghan will be editing the September issue of British Vogue, which is a pretty big deal considering it’s the magazine’s biggest issue of the year.

Not only will she be editing the September issue, according to an Us Weekly source, she’ll also write an opinion piece, reportedly “bringing a selection of female changemakers on board to write their own personal essays.”
A source also confirmed to ET Canada that the duchess will also welcome British Vogue into Frogmore Cottage in the coming weeks to pose for photographs that will be appearing in the issue as well.
Duchess Meghan isn’t the first royal to team up with British Vogue. Sister-in-law Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, was featured on the publication’s June 2016 cover as part of a collaboration between the magazine and the National Portrait Gallery.
Congrats to Meghan! We can’t wait to see the September issue!

According to PEOPLE, stadium-styled seating will allow guests to watch donut bakers as they prepare the mix to the donuts finally passing under the waterfall of glaze. The Krispy Kreme flagship store will literally have a glaze waterfall. Yes, please!
The location will be open 24/7 and will be home to the largest hot and ready light in the world, Cosmopolitan reports.
This will be Krispy Kreme’s first stand-alone location in New York City; currently, the only location is inside Penn Station.
Renderings of the donut headquarters show a giant wrap-around LED sign on the building, which, during the day, will look like the white top of the donut box. At night, however, the sign turns black with a neon New York City skyline design.
The donut chain expects this to be their busiest location in the world, so they will also offer pre-packaged dozens of their Original Glaze donuts, as well as other assortments, to help move the lines along.
As they will definitely be plenty of donuts, there will also be New York–themed merchandise and Krispy Kreme swag from T-shirts to mugs available for purchase.
Time to plan a trip to NYC next year!
Then This Happened
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday that she would not comment on whether she said that she wants to see President Donald Trump “in prison” as she was reported to have said last week behind closed doors, but she did say that she is “done with” spending time talking about Trump after his recent criticism of her while overseas in France.
Pelosi made it very clear during the onstage interview at the 2019 Fiscal Policy event hosted by Peter G. Peterson Foundation that she did not want to discuss the issue of impeachment and wanted to only discuss fiscal policy issues, The Hill reports.
“I don’t care what you ask anymore. I’m not going to talk about [Trump] anymore,” Pelosi told CNN’s Manu Rajuwhen pressed about Trump’s recent attacks on her and whether House Democrats were discussing impeaching the president.
Part of my Pelosi interview here from this morning, where she talks about how she’s “done” with Trump, talks about an impeachment inquiry and doesn’t deny she said she wants Trump in prison. And stops short of saying Trump committed crimes in office, but points to Mueller report pic.twitter.com/mlqWnqpzi7

In an interview with Fox News during his overseas trip in France last Thursday, Trump attacked Pelosi, calling her a “nasty, vindictive, horrible person.”
“I think she’s a disgrace,” Trump said. “I actually don’t think she’s a talented person, I’ve tried to be nice to her because I would have liked to have gotten some deals done. She’s incapable of doing deals, she’s a nasty, vindictive, horrible person, the Mueller report came out, it was a disaster for them.”
Pelosi said Tuesday she decided not to fire back at the president, and instead decided she “doesn’t even want to talk about him.”
“My stock goes up every time he attacks me, so what can I say, but let’s not spend too much time on that because that’s his victory, the diverter-in-chief, the diverter-of-attention-in-chief,” the speaker said.
During her interview, Pelosi said the impeachment of Trump is “not off the table,” but stopped short of saying if she has an obligation to launch an impeachment inquiry, ABC News reports.
Pelosi did , however, point to special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, saying, “I think the Mueller report very clearly spells out at least ten or 11 instances of obstruction of justice. But I’m not here to have that discussion. That’s for the committees.”
“If you open an impeachment inquiry, do you get more information?” Pelosi said. “You still end up in the court.”
Pelosi did add that the numbers are “not even close” within the Democratic caucus to move forward with impeachment.
