Gomez was last at Coachella in 2017, when she attended the festival with former boyfriend The Weeknd, who was performing there. This was her first time performing on the Coachella stage.
Her performance marks the first time she has taken the stage since she sought mental health treatment last year following a few hospital stays, Variety reports.
The singer also revealed in an Instagram post that she had undergone a kidney transplant last year as a result of her lupus diagnosis.
âIâm very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasnât promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of,â Gomez wrote, posting a picture of herself holding hands with her friend, actress Francia Raisa, who donated the kidney. âSo I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health.â

We havenât even tasted it yet, but it sounds delicious.
There is a catch, however. The drink, which had originally made its debut at Disney Springs back in 2017, is now only available for a limited time in Latin America, Popsugar reports.
So if you donât have any plans to be in Latin America this April, then youâll have to admire the Pink Flamingo Frappuccinoâs beauty from afar.
Starbucks customers in Latin America, however, arenât the only lucky ones. Starbucks Asia is adding two brand-new Frappuccinos to its lineup.
The new cold beverages include the Mixed Berry Frappuccino with Pomegranate Pearls, and the Yuzu Honey Jelly Yogurt Frappuccino, Elite Daily reports. Both Frappuccinos will also be available in April while supplies last, so make sure to get them while you can.

President Donald Trump declared he had the âabsolute legal rightâ to release undocumented immigrants into sanctuary cities in a tweet Saturday night, and demanded that his request be granted, HuffPost reports.
While Trump didnât provide any legal proof, he wrote, âJust out: The USA has the absolute legal right to have apprehended illegal immigrants transferred to Sanctuary Cities. We hereby demand that they be taken care of at the highest level, especially by the State of California, which is well known or its poor management & high taxes!â

Sanctuary cities, such as San Francisco, are considered as such because they do not cooperate with the federal government in complying with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) requests.
The Washington Post broke the story of the Trump administrationâs plan on Thursday, reporting that it has been considered twice in the past six months. A White House official told ABC News the plan âwas just a suggestion that was floated and rejected,â but Trump contradicted that on Friday when he tweeted the plan was still being considered.
âThe asylum laws are absolutely insane. They come up. In many cases, theyâre rough gang members,â Trump told reporters on Friday. âSo we are looking at the possibility â strongly looking at it, to be honest with you.â
In an interview on ABCâs This Week, House Homeland Security Committee Bennie Thompson (D-MS) told ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos he didnât âsee a legal way to do this,â adding that Trump had âmanufactured chaosâ at the southern border with his immigration policies.
âBefore Donald Trump took office, we had a situation that was manageable,â Thompson said. âWe had spikes, but it also went down, but what we have now is a constant pushing of the system so that it doesn’t work.â
In an earlier interview, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders told Stephanopoulos said the Trump administration is âlooking to see if there are options that make it possible and doing a full and thorough and extensive review.â
Sanders also argued that Democrats need to âstep up and help the president fix the laws,â adding that if they did, âthis all could go away.â
Thompson said Democrats were ready to âsit down and talk,â but said they âwonât be lectured to by the president.â
âHe canât decide âIâm not going to talk to Speaker Pelosi, Iâm not going to talk to Chairman Nadler, Iâm not going to talk to Bennie Thompson, Iâm going to talk to somebody else.â Thatâs not how it plays. Democrats elected us as leaders, and weâre the ones to expect â that are expected to go forward with this.â
