If you have not seen The Shop yet, then I suggest you definitely start watching. Basketball superstar Lebron James and business partner Maverick Carter have created a new show on HBO with numerous athletes, comedians, artists, and other people of famous stature who come together to discuss issues that they deal with, not just on a famous level but also on a personal level. This is content the viewers can relate to.

The show might throw you off with all the famous people who are involved, but as they start to talk about how they came up, the issues they face in not just the media but also in their families, it becomes relatable, especially within the African American community.

James created this series to start conversation just like it was done in barbershops that everyone went to when they were little, plus some wine! James has invited: Anthony Davis, Jamie Foxx, Candice Parker, Victor Oladipo, Meek Mill, Odell Beckham Jr, Draymond Green, Antonio Brown, 2 Chainz, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Jerrod Carmichael, and Drake, just to name a few people.

This new series has really created a lot of conversation, and I do believe that this is a must see for everyone, regardless of whether you’re a Lebron James fan or not. The Shop has really helped create a platform for the unspoken famous people you look up to.
