Luke Perry, best known for his roles in Beverly Hills, 90210 and Riverdale, passed away on March 4th, 2019 after suffering from a massive stroke. Perry was only 52 years old and was surrounded by his family during his last few days.

Although starting his acting career in 1982, Perry’s fame really took off after co-starring in Beverly Hills, 90210 from the years 1990-2000. He played a millionaire’s son and heartthrob Dylan McKay.

Due to his very large and accumulating fan base throughout the years, Perry also guest starred in different shows including The Simpsons, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. This eventually led him to receive the role of Fred Andrews, father of Archie Andrews on Riverdale. Since Riverdale is still live on television, producers have decided to postpone production of the ending of season 3 and start of season 4 until further notice. The most currently aired episode which was filmed before Perry’s death and was dedicated in his memory.
