Does the person like it? Are we getting boring? Did it last long enough?
Sex can be intimidating. It is fun and exciting, however, there are hundreds of questions that run through our heads when it comes to the subject. We will be honest, we are not sex experts but here are some tips and tricks (and some don’ts) for the bedroom!
Do’s
-
First and most important, get consent!
-
Foreplay all the way. Not only will this make the whole show last longer, but it also benefits everyone
-
Have good communication. Say what you like or what you don’t like. The key to good sex (or foreplay) is knowing what your partner likes and being able to communicate it
-
Tease, play and just have fun!
-
Use protection! Most of us college students don’t want kids right now (nor do we want to catch something)
-
Bored with the same ol’ sex? Spice it up! Actually, there are a few options here in Erie, like adult stores (most of them are downtown), there’s a Spencer’s at the mall, and we can’t forget about our good friend the internet (aka Amazon) where you can find anything from toys and games to lingerie and bondage
-
Open up and tell your partner about your fantasies. Trust us, it can take things to a new level.
-
Make sure you repay the favour! Whatever that favour might be *wink wink*
-
Use lube! Despite contrary beliefs, lube is not only for anal and can change your sex life. No shame in our game!
Don’t
-
Don’t go in dry! It’s not enjoyable for you and can lead to micro-tears! Ouch!
-
Don’t ask about size. Size doesn’t determine the quality of sex, and it can make him feel uncomfortable
-
Don’t try to be a porn star. Porn is acting and sets unrealistic expectations. Be yourself, be natural and do not fake it
-
Don’t feel bad about bad sex! It happens to everyone. People get tired. People get hungry. People drink too much. Just move on and don’t let the one time ruin your sex life!
-
Don’t feel pressured into having sex. You have a say in this, after all, it takes two to tango and if they complain, make you feel bad or anything like that, WALK AWAY because they don’t deserve you
-
Don’t forget about protection because of a guy who told you he “doesn’t like the feel” of a condom. This is a bullsh*t excuse and is not worth an STD or a child!
-
Never forget your worth. You are sexy and beautiful, but also remember you are much more than that and no one should ever make you feel anything less than amazing <3
