It’s no secret that The Bachelor franchise has created some strong couples. These relationships tend to be created within seasons of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, or even Bachelor in Paradise. However, a new couple has recently emerged due to the fact that they run in the same circles of past Bachelor contestants. Kaitlyn Bristowe, who was The Bachelorette of season eleven, and Jason Tartick, who made his appearance on Becca Kufrin’s season, have confirmed that they are now an item!
Prior Relationships
After competing on The Bachelor, Kaitlyn was given the chance to call the shots and was named The Bachelorette for the eleventh season. At the season finale, she accepted a proposal from Shawn Booth. After three years together, they had to accept the fact that they were fundamentally very different, and their relationship was not going to work out. After breaking up in September, they made their split public in November.
Jason was in the running to become the next bachelor. However, Colton Underwood was the chosen man which left Tartick single and ready for love outside of the show.
The First Spark
Not long after, there was a definite spark between Kaitlyn and Jason. He and Blake Horstman, another contender on Becca’s season, were on Kaitlyn’s Off the Vine podcast where there was definite flirting between the two. Kaitlyn finally made the first move and asked him, “Jason, are you finally going to ask me on a date?” Jason playfully responded and their first date was planned.
The First Date
Jason and Kaitlyn had their first date, and from the looks of their Instagram stories, it was a success. Both gushed over each other and posted nonstop (which we aren’t complaining about).
The Relationship is Confirmed
Jason confirmed their relationship on The Today Show and revealed that they have been dating for just about a month!
Jason and Kaitlyn are making some clear statements about their feelings for one another. Through social media posts and interviews, it is evident that they are crazy about each other. Both continue to gush about their shared values and morals and how everything is going great. Kaitlyn also added that he is a rare breed and an actual gentleman.
