Body positivity is currently a popular topic in the media. Many women have begun encouraging others to love themselves and their bodies. A lot of people struggle with body positivity in today’s society. Body shaming, whether it be from a brand you used to love or from someone you don’t even know on social media, has created an unfortunate stigma for women and their bodies. Sometimes, it’s nice to hear stories or advice from other people to remind you that you’re not alone in your journey to being body positive. Sometimes, we just need a small reminder that we are all beautiful no matter what shape or size we are. If you find yourself struggling to feel good about who you are, check out these four ladies on Instagram.

Rini (@ownitbabe)
Rini’s entire Instagram page focuses on self-love and mental health. All of her posts encourage us to stop being so hard on ourselves and our bodies. She talks a lot about how food is not the enemy and how she overcame that mindset herself. Her page is great because she’s real and raw. I find her posts to be extremely relatable, and she provides very helpful advice and information about how to start loving yourself and your body.

Jessi (@jessijeannn)Â
The main purpose of Jessi’s Instagram is to help women evolve their relationship with food, as well as accept themselves as they are. She is a certified eating psychology coach and provides programs for people who struggle with eating disorders. Food is usually a huge struggle for women. We feel that we can’t eat very much or we won’t be happy with our bodies. Her page focuses on ending that stigma and she gives advice about how to mend your relationship with food and how to feel comfortable with cellulite, rolls and imperfections.

Erika Lauren (@erikalaurenweber)Â
Erika mainly posts workout videos on her page, but she makes a lot of inspirational posts as well. While they aren’t mainly focused on body positivity, she encourages her followers to love themselves and be happy with who they are. She talks about how to deal with negativity in your life, building healthy relationships, while reminding you that you have potential and to not give up. She covers a lot of different topics and she’s a great girl to follow just for some daily inspiration.

Hannah Bower (@hannahbower2)Â
Hannah’s posts are primarily workout videos as well, but she also focuses on building a healthy relationship with food. She talks a lot on her IG story about how you can reach your goals while also having a good relationship with food. She recently made an amazing post about how terrible the diet culture is. Society has made us think that all sugars, fats and carbs are terrible for our health and should rarely be consumed. She reminds women that you can still have all the foods you love and be healthy. She recently had a baby, so she also posts a lot about her postpartum fitness/nutrition lifestyle (and her baby is adorable, so that’s a bonus).
