This time of year is crazy for everyone, especially students given that many of us do not finish exams until the 21st of December. This gives those individuals who have been cramming for their exams only 3 days to power shop for all their presents. This article will give you all the information you need to knock those last few people off your list—and on a student budget too! All gifts listed will be under or around 50 dollars.
For the family member who has everything:
There is always that one family member that has everything they could ever want, making it impossible to buy them gifts. For people like this I always try and buy them something they might not know they need, like an agenda or a notebook for work. I found this agenda on Amazon for $30 and it is minimalist but gets the job done!
For your significant other:
Boyfriends or girlfriends can be difficult to buy for as well because they often do not directly tell you what they want. For people like this, I try and buy them a sentimental gift that I know they will love because it is a hobby we share or something that has a lot of meaning. I found these coasters on Amazon for $12 and they’re also a gift that shows you care and are thinking of them.
For your mom:
Mothers can be difficult because everyone’s mother has different hobbies. My go-to gift for my mother is a beauty gift set. I do this because she usually sticks to the same products but enjoys when I buy her something new to try out. This year I bought my mom this L’Occitane hand cream set for $54 and is perfect because my mom always complains about her dry hands in the winter time! I think this is a great set for anyone’s mom because it’s 20% shea butter and fits right into any spa routine! For moms that are not as into beauty regimes, the Amazon Echo Dot is a great gift for their office or even the kitchen. The Echo Dot acts like an assistant and can book meetings as well as google recipes for $40 on sale currently.
For your dad:
This year, I got my dad this Magnetic Barbecue light for $23 because he spends so much time barbecuing and enjoys trying out new recipes! This is a great gift for a dad that shows you are thinking of him! Another gift for your dad is a LED flashlight. Flashlights are great gifts because they are always necessary. This flashlight is LED and retails for $26.25. Whether it’s a power outage at home or for his car safety kit, flashlights are a great addition to any gift!
For your boss:
Bosses can be difficult to shop for as you want to impress them as well as get something that you think they would like. My go to gift for a boss or coworker is some sort of appetizer snack board. There are many different kinds and you can never have too many if you like to host for Christmas or if you just enjoy a nice cheese spread after work! This cheese board retails for $31.25.
For your host:
During the Christmas season I find myself going to lots of Christmas parties for work, family or even a friend’s Christmas potluck! I often try and get the host a little gift for having everyone over and these stainless wine glasses for $30 are perfect for this! They have lids to take on the go and are great if you are outside skating or in the backyard around the fire!
For your sibling:
Siblings can be pretty difficult to shop for. Lucky for me, my sister always tells me what she wants way ahead of time and it’s very easy to purchase. For those of you who struggle to find the perfect gift for a sibling, look no further! This is the perfect charger for all the gadgets on their desk for just under 50 dollars. Even if they aren’t super into technology, this charger can charge a number of different things on their desk, making it the perfect addition to any office or bedroom vanity!
I hope this list of items has helped inspired you to grab those last minute gifts! It is also worth mentioning that Amazon Prime still has one day shipping before Christmas on most items! All of the pictures were found on the sources linked! Happy shopping!
