Have you ever wondered which of your favourite movie characters you are most like? What character tropes do you fall into? Are you a bold and daring 007 type, or a friendly and curious Disney princess? Are you the determined Imperator Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road or the calculated Neo from The Matrix?
According to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, everyone fits into one of 16 personality categories β including your favourite movie characters. MBTI is a personality questionnaire which determines a subjectβs character based on 4-letter personality indicators. The test, created by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers, is based on the Jungian concept that there are 4 principle psychological functions through which humans experience the world β sensation, intuition, feeling, and thinking. Carl Jung believed that one of these traits is more dominant in a person most of the time. The official test includes over 90 questions, and you can take it here.
Based on the Myers Briggs typology, I have composed a list of some of the iconic movie characters that fit each personality type. Check out this list to find out what character you resemble from your favourite movies.
