There are so many young and talented actors out there working on films and TV shows that deserve recognition. These individuals work very hard to bring the characters they portray to life and tell their stories properly. Plus, a lot of young actors these days are seen as activists, fighting for equal rights and a better world. So, I wanted to highlight 10 actors who have recently stepped into the spotlight as they will be Hollywood’s bright future.

Kiernan Shipka (18 years old)

She may be young but she’s got a long list of movies and television shows on her resumé. Most recently, she stars as badass Sabrina Spellman in Netflix’s the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She’s very talented and her performances are commanding, especially in CAOS where she gets to play a strong and powerful witch. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her because she’ll for sure have a long career.

Tom Holland (22 years old)

Many of you may know Tom Holland from Marvel’s latest Spider-Man movies, but he’s actually been in a few other great movies where his performances were award worthy. Take The Impossible for example, a movie about the devastating 2004 Thailand tsunami, where Tom plays a young boy who gets swept away by the waves and has to care for his mother while trying to find his younger siblings and father. It’s one of those movies that make the tears flow every single time. Plus, Tom is so charming and sweet, it’s hard not to love him.

Lana Condor (21 years old)

The lovely Lana Condor stole hearts where she played Lara Jean Covey in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. Since TATBILB is the first book of three, we might get lucky and see Lana retrieve her role as Lara Jean in 2 more movies to complete the trilogy. However, you can catch her soon on SyFy’s new show Deadly Class.

Chance Perdomo (22 years old)

He’s charming and British, what more could you ask for? Oh, and he plays the wonderfully witty Ambrose Spellman on the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I’m looking forward to seeing more when new episodes of CAOS are released.

Danielle Rose Russell (19 years old)

Currently starring as Hope Mikaelson in the CW show Legacies, Danielle Rose Russell plays a strong willed and very powerful young girl. Having played Hope in The Originals, I’m excited to see what’s in store for Legacies because Russell sure knows how to play an emotionally angsty and strong tribrid. Yep, her character is part werewolf, part vampire, and part witch, which means it’s going to be an intense season for her.

Noah Centineo (22 years old)

Although Noah played Jesus on The Fosters, he was thrusted into the spotlight when the movie To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before came out on Netflix. People just couldn’t help but swoon all over him and it’s not just because of his good looks. Noah is a talented actor and definitely has a knack for playing sweet love-struck boys. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing more of him soon.

Cierra Ramirez (23 years old)

If you watched The Fosters, you’ll know Cierra Ramirez as the smart and feisty Mariana. Thankfully, we’ll be seeing her more often as she’ll be starring in Good Trouble, a show about Mariana and Callie Adams Fosters’ life in LA.

Fionn Whitehead (21 years old)

Fionn Whitehead’s raw performance in Dunkirk was so emotional and moving that he’s sure to book many movie roles in the future. Don’t be surprised if this kid wins an Oscar one day!

Tati Gabrielle (22)

Tati Gabrielle gave a chilling performance in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as Prudence, one of the Weird Sisters. She showed us a few different sides to Prudence from witchy mean girl to empathetic sister, but I bet we’ll be seeing Prudence get a lot more sinister in upcoming CAOS episodes.

Nick Robinson (23 years old)

You may recognize him from the adorable movie Love, Simon. Although Nick Robinson has been acting for many years in different movies and TV shows, it’s his most recent role as Simon Spier which has gotten him the most recognition. Robinson plays the lead in a delightful teen rom-com which had everyone crying happy tears. He’s a sweet and talented guy so I’m sure it won’t be long until Nick is back on the silver screen.
