Gritty, aka the Philadelphia Flyers’ new mascot, is taking the world by storm. He’s one mysterious creature that we may never fully understand, but he sure is entertaining. Here are six strange things Gritty’s done within the past month:

 

1. Existed

We’re all still getting used to him being around.

 

2. Scared children

I can’t imagine the terror in seeing Gritty skate toward you.

 

3. Showed off his belly button that squeaks

Why wouldn’t he do that?

 

4. Made a Twitter account

Just another way for us to follow his antics.

 

5. Been the star of talk shows

He’s earning his time in the spotlight.

 

6. Came in like a wrecking ball
