Halloween is almost here, and what better way to get in the spirit than to have a Halloween movie marathon?

Since we’re a matter of days away from this awesome holiday, here are the top 5 Halloween movies that are great to watch on your spooky night!

1. Dead Silence 

“Beware of the stare of Mary Shaw, She had no Children only dolls. If you see her in your dreams be sure you never ever scream, she’ll rip your tongue out by the seams.” Dead Silence is one of the scariest movies of all time. This movie will probably have you looking at dummies differently after watching. The movies is about a murdered ventriloquist named Mary Shaw. whose presences still curse the town of Ravens Fair. 

2.  The Conjuring 

This movie will put chills down your back when watching! it will also make you want to do a background check on the house you live in. The Conjuring is about paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Who are called by the Perron family to investigate the paranormal activities in their family’s home.

3. The Nightmare on Elm’s Street 

“One, two, Freddy’s coming for you. Three, four, better lock your door. Five, six, grab you crucifix. Seven, eight, gonna stay up late. Nine, ten, never sleep again.” The Nightmare on Elm’s Street is an horror movie classic. This movie is a great way to start your Halloween night. Freddy Kruger terrorizes teens in their sleep which actually kills them in real life. 

4. IT

This is another cult classic for horror movies. The remake is even really good to watch for Halloween as well. IT is about a clown named Pennywise who terrorizes little kids in a town called Derry, every 20 years. 

5. The Shining 

This is another Stephen King Classic. The Shining is a movie that is good from the beginning to the end. The Shining is about the Torrance’s family who goes to an isolated Overall Look Hotel in Colorado. While Jack Torrance is trying to fight writer’s block, he also is trying to kill his family. This movie was inspired by the real hotel called Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.
