What You Will Need:

  • Different colors of felt
  • Scissors
  • Krazy Glue
  • Dowel (optional)
  • Paint or other decorations (optional)

Step 1:

Choose the color of felt that you’d like your pennant to be and cut a long triangle shape. This will be the base of your pennant.

Step 2:

Cut a rectangle of another color of the felt material that is long enough to cover the shortest side of the triangle. Also, make sure the strip is as thickness you prefer to cover the edge inwards from both front and back of the shortest side.

Step 3:

Using Krazy glue, place half of the rectangular shape on one edge and glue it on, leaving the other half hanging off the edge. Fold that part onto the back and use Krazy Glue to attach it to that side as well. If using a dowel, Krazy glue it behind the pennant base before folding and gluing the rectangle.Make sure to cover the dowel with the extra bit of rectangular felt that you have hanging off the short edge of the pennant.

Step 4:

Cut off the excess.

Step 5:

Cut a long thin rectangle of the same felt as steps two to four.

Step 6:

Fold the long strip in half, then fold it in half again. Cut along the folds to create four smaller rectangles.

Step 7:

Make two V shapes and use Krazy Glue to attach them on as desired.

Step 8:

Use paint, glitter, rhinestones, or whatever you’d like to give the pennant your own personal touch.

Step 9:

Hang it up whererver and however you’d like, and you’re done!
