Here’s what you need to know about Josh Peck, before he comes to Bucknell on October 2nd at 7 p.m. in the Weis Center for Performing Arts.
1) Josh has a YouTube channel.
Not too long ago, Josh made a YouTube channel and honestly, it’s everything we all needed. Josh’s hilarious humor from Drake and Josh is evident throughout all of his videos. He is friends with some of the most well-known YouTubers, whom he frequently features is his videos. Some of his friends include David Dobrik, Tana Mongeau, Shane Dawson, Gabbie Hanna, Corinna Kopf, Trisha Paytas, and more. Some of his videos include visiting the Drake and Josh house, reuniting with Helen from Drake and Josh, and even some videos with Drake Bell.
2) His wife is pregnant!
Josh’s and his wife, Paige O’Brien, just announced a few weeks ago that they are having a baby! He even made a video where he tells a bunch of his friends that he’s having a baby, including telling Drake Bell and John Stamos.
3) Drake and Josh are totally friends.
Back in June 2017, Josh and Paige got married. There were a lot of internet rumors going around about Drake and Josh having beef because he wasn’t invited to the wedding. However, Josh cleared the rumor up that they are still friends and even hang out sometimes.
4) He was famous on Vine.
In 2015, Josh was the most popular comedian on Vine. When Vine stopped existing, Josh moved his viewers over to YouTube to continue making videos.
5) Josh has quite an interesting life story.
Josh grew up with his mother Barbara and his grandmother, and has never met his biological father. He grew up having bad asthma. When he was thirteen, he was offered a part on “The Amanda Show,” which is eventually how he landed “Drake and Josh.”
6) Josh embraces his religion.
Josh is Jewish, and for him, being Jewish is more than just a religion. He was quoted in an interview saying, “You inherently feel Jewish no matter what. Where I draw my spirituality from is still being decided. But culturally I feel it’s very much a part of my core.”
