Cue the tears. This is US is back and we hope you have your tissues ready. Through the last two season this show has become America’s tear jerker and no matter, what you’re never ready for it. The biggest question is, what will we expect to see in the season to come?

Season 3 kicked off on Tuesday night as we celebrated another year of birthdays for the big three. A bittersweet 38thbirthday was in store for the siblings but that seemed per usual for this storyline. The episode had a clear focus on two main things. First Kate and Toby continue to have issues with infertility leaving much to the imagination of what their future will hold. Will they get the baby they always dreamed of, will Toby push himself to his limit to please Kate, or will they honor Randall and adopt a child of their own. (Nothing was hinted that adoption was in their plans but my imagination likes to run wild with this show)

Then we see Randall pour his heart into his relationship with Deja only for her to shut him down, sneak out and find her birth father but then, plot twist she does want them to adopt her? A question for season 3? Where will Deja’s adoption go and will we learn more about her father this season? Also, this is US decided to do flash forwards, flash back and present time scenes. Something that continues to be brought to our attention is that Randall in the future will find Tess and they will both be avoiding someone they are not yet ready to see.

Now that the new element of the future has been added to this show, we can assume that we will start to see story lines fall together throughout pieces of history. How did Kevin’s ultimate battle with addiction start? How did the kids cope with Jack’s death? What is the link in the story to Jacks brothers death?

Overall, it is as though the storyline will only continue to complicate itself. If only seasons weren’t so far apart, am I right? This is US is known for keeping it 100% real with their audience, presenting real-life problems under the influence of family ties and for me that is the best part. We can expect many plot twist and life lessons from this show. Especially continuing to see how Rebecca and Jack’s relationship evolved over time. ( I mean how cute was that scene, started from the bottom vibes for sure) I’m sure the writers are ready to take us on quite the ride with the Pearson’s.this season.
