As much as this insufferable heat makes fall seem like a far away dream, cozy weather is right around the corner! Fall fashion is arguably one of the most exciting and diverse seasons to be on top of. Oversized sweaters… blanket scarves…that dark lipstick lying around that’s too grunge for any other time of the year… all acceptable for fall fashion! Here are some of 2018’s prospective fall trends!

 

#1: Plaid

The vintage 70’s look, along with the typical fall color palette, adds some spunk into your daily high waisted pants.

 

 

#2: Velvet

This one has been rising in popularity for awhile, but fall is truly the best time to bring out anything and everything velvet. Plus, you can never go wrong with velvet overalls.

 

#3: Trench Coats

While pink doesn’t have a place within the common fall fashion color scheme, this pop of color adds some light to any dreary weather that might come our way in the later months of the year.

 

#4: Midi Dresses

I have been completely obsessed with these this season. The almost-ankle length adds to the value of a nice midi dress, so you’re not too cold, but it also is so versatile. Pair with a cardigan and flats for a girly look or with a bomber/denim jacket and chunky boots for a grunge look.

 

#5: Blazers

A necessity – whether it’s to compliment your everyday look or to keep you warm in the office during those long internship hours!
