While some celebs have a tendency to show up to the Met Gala in looks that leave us scratching our heads when it comes to the theme, our queen Rihanna always pulls through, whether she’s rocking that iconic omelet dress that gave us endless memes, or a stunning, sculptural Comme des Garcons look.Â
Naturally, 2018’s “Heavenly Bodies” theme was no exception, and Rihanna graced us all with her presence on the red carpet dressed as none other than the actual Pope in a ~lewk~ only she could pull off.

Queen Rih’s Maison Margiela look took the traditional papal robe and hat and made it ~fashion~ with plenty of intricate crystals, beads and a killer pair of Christian Louboutin heels. Paired with a smoky eye that makes me want to spend all my money on Fenty Beauty even more than I already did, it just might be her best Met Gala look yet.
