Graduation is gradually crawling towards us like the Grudge, but don’t let it suffocate you with its hair. I’ve been barely sleeping this past week, ranging from four to six hours of sleep per day. (I only had four hours of sleep while writing this). My caffeine intake has skyrocketed throughout that time, leaving me a nauseated and dehydrated mess. I just started drinking coffee with a dab of sugar and alternating between chugging diet Pepsi at twelve in the morning. I’m on my last thread and on my last research paper for college. I already submitted my Senior Seminar project and picked up my graduation robe. At this point, presentations and finals will be a breeze.
I don’t know where I see myself after I graduate and that’s okay. Sometimes it takes time to figure out where you’re going. Right now, I’m focused on drinking green tea, eating Chinese food, and passing out in my bed or at least that’s what I hope to do. One thing I’ll say is remember to sleep. Sleep is important and without it you’ll have trouble processing those exams and writing those papers when finals appear to put a damper on your mood.
