Being a captain for campus wide games was both a blessing and a challenge. Being a captain didn’t just mean bossing people around and telling them what to do. It meant stepping up my game so that I can represent my team on a higher level. It meant proving myself to be a force to be reckoned with on campus. It was rather difficult. I honestly don’t think I could have been successful on my own. That’s why I’m eternally grateful for my Co-Captain, Nick, as well as the team I assembled. The 10 of us really pulled together, ignoring any tension or outside qualms, and staying focused on the various tasks at hand.
Being their captain has been a college experience I will treasure.
