The purpose of college is to learn and prepare for your future career, but it’s also the last time you get to be adventurous and wild before you get a “real” job. Take advantage of your remaining time as a student and explore! The following is a list of activities you should engage in while you are an undergraduate in Pittsburgh.

Places to Go

1. Mt. Washington, for one of the best views in the country

2. Mattress Factory

3. Carnegie Science Center

4. Andy Warhol Museum

5. Carnegie Museum of Natural History

6. Randy Land

7. Phipps Botanical Gardens

8. The highest floor you can get to in the Cathedral of Learning for the ~views~

9. The Pittsburgh Zoo

10. Kennywood

11. Sandcastle Waterpark

Food to eat

12. ANYTHING with fries on it

13. Half-off Porch pizza (after 9pm on weekdays; we recommend the Bianca)

14. Pams for brunch

15. Crazy grilled cheese at The Yard

16. Tacos from Täkō or Condado (Las Palmas if you don’t want to go Downtown)

Alcohol-themed activities (for you 21+ people)

17. Go to Hofbräuhaus on a Thursday night

18. Dance in a shitty frat party basement (emphasis on the shitty)

19. Attend a tailgate

20. Get your horns at Peter’s on your 21st birthday

21. Get a big azz margarita from Mad Mex

22. Eat Campus Deli while under the influence

23. Drunkenly order an Antoons pizza with powdered sugar

24. Sing G-door karaoke

26. Attend a Pitt football game (even though we are trash!!)

27. Attend a Pitt basketball game (even though we are trash!!!!!!)

28. Enroll in a really silly elective a la “Vampire: Blood and Empire” or “Russian Fairy Tales”

29. See a show at the Benedum Center

30. Participate in research, an internship or a co-op

31. Post a photo of queen Cathy to your insta

32. Go to a Pirates Game and see the view of the city

33. Watch a Pens game in a bar

34. Tour the Nationality Rooms

35. Sign up for a free activity through Pitt Arts

36. Go to The Point (and catch the sunset)

37. Have a picnic in Schenley Park

38. Go to Light Up Night in November

39. Go kayaking with a view of the city

40. Drive through the Fort Pitt Tunnel and do your best to re-create the scene from The Perks of Being a Wallflower
