This week, I took over the @HerCampus Instagram Story to showcase my Get Ready With Me, and I just had to head over here to tell you about my new fave skincare product: a fancy eye cream. Skincare is so important (duh), but some people forget that their eye area needs some love too. I use to be one of those people until I came across Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. Now, I’m never going back.
I did some research and spent hours reading through reviews. After hearing how amazing this is supposed to be, I knew I had to give it a try.
Here’s why this eye cream is basically magic.
While Kiehl’s is obviously one of the best skin care companies, what truly sold me on this product was the avocado. Avocado oil is known to be the most moisturizing of any fruit oil. It’s also a source of vitamins A, D, E and potassium. Yet, another reason to love avocados!
Another bonus with this eye treatment is that it also contains beta-carotene and shea butter. Both give amazing benefits to your skincare routine such as vitamins, production from dehydration, and restoring and improving the appearance of skin. Perfect for all skin types!
Here’s how it went down.
So how does this eye treatment work? Gently tap the cream along your orbital bone with your fingertip morning or night. Personally, I like to use this cream at night time. After I get out of the shower, apply my normal face cream, do any other skincare steps, and lastly apply this. It definitely gives a nice cooling, hydrated feeling.
The bottle says that it “smooths skin with a uniquely-concentrated formula that won’t migrate into your eyes,” and that’s def not a lie. It’s not oily, and once you put it on, it feels so light on your skin and does not budge. YES ?
It starts absorbing into your skin from the second you put it on, and the glow is so real, you guys.
Overall, I think if you aren’t on the eye cream bandwagon, then you definitely need to hop on and try this Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. It is the perfect skin treat addition you never knew you needed, and it’s the best treatment to make up for all those late nights at the library.
