Her Campus: What are you involved in on campus?
LM: Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Phi Omega, Sigma Zeta, Best Buddies, McNulty Scholar, APEX, WIP, and SI Leader
HC: Besides clubs and activities, what are your favorite hobbies?
LM: I like working out and going to the gym. I love to listen to music especially country. My favorites are Thomas Rhett and Rascal Flatts!
HC: What is it like to be a McNulty scholar?
LM: Being a McNulty Scholar is something I’m very proud of. There are so many amazing women in the program, and I am lucky to be both supported and challenged by them in everything I do.
HC: Where was your APEX service site?
LM: I will be going to Ivanhoe, Virginia!
HC: Having already done APEX as a freshman, why do you APEX?
LM: I APEX for the joy that comes from serving alongside some of the most genuine, kind-hearted people on this campus and the humble, hardworking members from the communities with which we serve. The love, faith, and solidarity shared is unmatched.
HC: How has sophomore year been different or the same compared to freshman year?
LM: My classes are obviously more difficult and I am more involved on campus this year. With those new activities, I have more responsibility and less free time, but I’ve made some amazing friends already this semester, especially from AGD. I never doubted that SJU was the place for me, but I’m more sure of it with each day I spend here.
HC: Favorite spot on campus?
LM: I love to study at the tables outside of the library, because of the fresh air and the beautiful views of campus especially Barb!
HC: Favorite Netflix show?
LM: My favorite is probably Grey’s Anatomy or One Tree Hill, but currently watching Criminal Minds.
HC: Any fun facts?
LM: I have never pumped my own gas. #Jersey
