While we’re definitely not happy that tailgate season ended with first semester, we can’t help but be excited for our empty Saturdays to refill with fun again. As the ice begins to melt and the freezing temperatures begin to rise back above 20 degrees, darty season is officially back. Now’s the time to show off all those new outfits you ordered online while procrastinating in the library these past couple of weeks. So, are you ready?! Whether it’s a new pair of sunglasses or sick joggers you found on sale, make sure to find something that will make you stand out this darty season. Coming from my friends to yours, check out some of the cutest and coolest trends to show off this year.
1. Unique Sunglasses
When you know you’ll be outside all day surrounded by a lot of people, it’s probably a smart idea to opt for your most inexpensive pair of sunglasses. While you might be hesitant to put those Ray-Bans back in their case, cheap sunglasses are the best for experimenting with new, unique looks. Buy a pair of bold sunglasses that’ll stand out among the crowd but won’t cause too much regret if they end up lost somewhere on the ground.
2. Knotted Graphic Tee With Jeans
Take any basic graphic tee and simply knot it on the bottom to give it more of a “party” feel. Pair this now-cropped tee with your favorite pair of jeans to complete the look.
3. Joggers
If you’re in the mood for a more laid back look, trade in those jeans for your newest joggers. Put them together with any cropped shirt or sweatshirt and you have the perfect chill outfit to show off all day.
4. Hats
Whether it’s because you’re having a bad hair day or you need to add a little something to a basic outfit, the perfect addition to any darty attire is a cute hat. Rep your favorite sports team or make a statement with a bold saying; get creative!
5. Overalls
Overalls are the perfect example of an old style making a strong (and trendy) comeback. Wear those overall pants with a cute long sleeve while it’s still cold out, and save the shorts version for those warmer spring days. Either way, any overalls will add flair to a simple outfit.
