The following are four easy ways to make your home away from home feel zen for this coming semester!
1. Keep a crystal around
Crystals are very powerful items to keep around yourself and your home. There is a lot to learn about them in order to understand their incredible healing power. A crystal-101 tip I have for you is to keep a clear quartz in your home. Clear quartz reduces stress and anxiety and strengthen positive energy around you. Another good crystal for your dorm is the tiger’s eye – it is a stone which offers protective qualities from negative energy and creates balanced energy to motivate and help you set goals. Everything you need for a successful semester!
2. Roses
It is unrealistic for a student on a budget to buy fresh roses every week. However, roses vibrate at a high frequency and look amazing in a room! The higher the frequency of your energy, the greater personal power, clarity, peace, love, and joy you experience. Therefore, if you are able to splurge I highly suggest buying a handful of roses for your dorm during a stressful time.
3. Heck! Bring any house plant!
Although roses in particular vibrate at a very high frequency, you can always opt for the more affordable potted plant! Plants shed positive energy into the room, because after all, they are life. And even at the very least, their bright colors liven up a room. Pick yourself up a small potted plant and keep it by your window for a little energy boost.
4. Essential Oils
This one is just perfect for dorms! Most dorm buildings don’t allow candles or incense because of the smoke. Ta-da! Get yourself a nifty oil diffuser. You can find one online, on amazon for example, for a very inexpensive price. Then you can choose whatever oils you’d like! To raise the vibrations in your living space, try basil, frankincense, juniper, lavender, sage, peppermint, sandalwood, cinnamon, rosemary or eucalyptus.
