At some point in every girl’s life, she wants to get bangs. I was that girl around this time last year. I looked up cute bang hairstyles and gave myself faux bangs. And that was it. I was convinced that I would love having bangs. I did, until it started to get warm outside and they stuck to my forehead like glue. I started growing them out about two months after I got them cut, and let me just say that growing out bangs is not an easy process. It’s takes months, sometimes years, to get them the same length as your normal hair. So, for all you girls out there who are trying to grow out their bangs, here are three ways to style them while you wait:
1. HeadbandTucking your bangs behind a headband helps keep them from sticking to your forehead when it’s extremely hot or when they’re at that awkward length where you don’t even know if they classify as bangs.
2. Twist and pinThe twist and pin is a super easy and super cute way to style your bangs.
3. Braid This one may take some practice, but it does work! If you can’t braid them yourself, ask a friend!
Happy styling!
