The holiday season has commenced which marks the beginning of holiday parties, family get togethers and gift exchanges. It is also no surprise that you are going to want to look your best and post on instagram. This year, the beauty industry has set their trends for this winter season and I am here to tell you about them to make sure you put your best face out there and serve some looks!
- The matte red lip and clean eyeliner look: this has always been a staple look for the holidays and always comes off as put together without even trying. Not to mention, red is a holiday color so don’t be afraid to aim for that pop of color on your lips. Trust me, you’ve got this. If you want to be a little more dramatic, you can place individual lashes just to make sure you get that extra oomph to your look!

2.Copper/ golden eye look: this is the perfect time to experiment with some shimmer in your eyes. Applying a gold, copper, or bronze shadow to your lids will bring the right attention to your eyes without looking to overdone.

3. All around neutral/ natural look: if your not a fan of any bold colors on your face, that is totally fine. To shoot for a more natural look you can go for more neutral colors such as the peaches, browns, and beiges.

4. Glossy lips: although lip-gloss can get annoying it does look good for the gram and with all the newest releases from brands like glossier and fenty beauty, lip gloss is coming back strong and seems like its here to stay

5. Glowing highlight: we’ve steered a bit away from the contour look and have found ourselves looking for the best glow we can find. Don’t be afraid to experiment with highlight. Remember, a little could go a long way. The most popular areas to apply are your cheekbones, cupids bow (above the lip), tear duct (inner eyes), and the bridge of your nose.
Whatever look you go for, don’t be afraid to have fun with and feel confident! Wishing you the best for this holiday season!
