Well helloooo last article of the semester!
You seemed so far away for so long and now we’re finally face to face and it’s such a bittersweet feeling. I love writing for Her Campus, it’s such a freeing feeling to write my thoughts ideas and opinions every week. But as most of you know sometimes it’s also exhausting and the last article of the semester means that the Fall ’17 semester is finally coming to a close. It’s time to enjoy these next 2 months, I deserve it, we all do.
It’s the homestretch. Next semester will be my final semester as an undergrad, a Her Campus writer, and ultimately my initiation into adulthood. An unwanted invitation if I’m being honest. Really, how did I get here? I remember my first day of freshman year so vividly. Now I have no choice but to accept this invitation and clumsily fall into this adulting thing. It’s probably one of the scariest thoughts I’ve ever had. However, I’m getting ahead of myself. There is a more prominent battle knocking at my door: finals week.
Twas the week before finals…
And all through the country, college students are consumed by stress, drinking Red Bull, and searching for the light at the end of the tunnel. But I promise it’s there. We all just need to have faith and remember that we’ve made it this far. I encourage you to lean on your support system as much as possible, do whatever is necessary to keep your sanity. Think about the vacation you have planned, imagine how surreal it will feel to return those textbooks, or close the tabs on your computer. Whatever it is that brings you joy at the end of the semester consume your thoughts with that.  Do not let this week break you.  We got this!
