Pan Ku announces Release Party

Panku, Broward College’s literary magazine is proud to announce it’s Release Party.

The Release Party will be held in the Downtown Campus Building on December 4th to celebrate a new issue of Pan Ku and the writers lucky enough to be published in their new issue.

Food and refreshments will be available to those attending and there will be readings from the magazine.

 

Pan Ku takes submissions in literature such a prose, poetry and short stories, as well as visual arts such as paintings, sculptures, and photography. Every semester, subscriptions from prospecting students are taken into consideration and a portion of them are featured in the magazine for the rest of the school to see.

 

Everyone who can go is urged to go, as this will be a celebration of Broward College and the budding artists it holds.

Ana Cedeno is a journalism major and campus correspondent for Broward College. Originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, she immigrated to the United States when she was twelve years old and continued her education in the sunny, politically contradictory, swamp state of Florida. She has since been published by both her college newspaper and the online grassroots journalism publication Rise Miami News. A fan of literature since age 6, she's an enthusiast of language and making her opinion known, while still hearing out the other side and keeping an open mind for growth.
