Her Campus Marywood (HC): “What made you want to write for Her Campus, and why do you love writing for it?”

Madi Harm (MH): I wanted to write for Her Campus because it gives more of a personal voice, rather than an impartial journalism standpoint. I feel like I can talk about topics that relate to college women.”

HC: “ What are you involved in on campus?”

MH: “I am an Admissions Ambassador, Intern in Student Activities, and committee collaboration chair on SGA”.

HC: “You are a transfer student, correct?”

MH: “Yes.”

HC: “What made you come to Marywood from your other school?”

MH: “To be entirely honest it was kinda shot in the dark. It seemed to have everything I needed at that point in time. I definitely  utilized all my opportunities here . I am extremely thankful that it paid off”.

HC: “Are there any quotes you live by?”

MH: “When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace”.

HC: “When you are not in class or doing your millions of other activities, what do you like to do on your day off?” MH: “I usually plug netflix in and fall asleep in my family room on the couch. I also bake goodies a lot.”

HC: “What would you say to people who want to get involved in SAC and SGA?”

MH: “I would say it is going to be uncomfortable at first but you just have to do it and then it really pays off. I was afraid to join sga because I didn’t know if I would fit in, and now I’m kicking myself for not joining 2 years ago.”

HC: “Dunkin or Starbucks?”

MH: * holds up her starbucks drink* “Starbucks”
