Let’s be real, there are ~so many~ things to be thankful for here at Fairfield. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we can’t help but think of everything we are thankful for. From the second most of us stepped foot onto this campus as a freshman, we knew we would love our new home. Although the list can go on forever, here are 7 things Fairfield University students are thankful for:
1. All the Friends We Have Made
They say the friendships you make at college will last a lifetime and we can confidently say this is true. We are so thankful for our fellow Stags.
2. The Town
Whether we just want to go to a coffee shop and relax for a bit, or go out to dinner with our friends, this town has it all. And don’t even get us started on all of the cute boutiques like Apricot Lane. We are obsessed!
3. The Stag
“Wanna go to the stag at 1?” The Stag is such a nice option to have when we don’t feel like going to The Tully.
4. Our Professors
We can’t imagine sitting in a lecture hall filled with hundreds of students where the professors don’t even know our names! Luckily, here at Fairfield our professors truly care about us and really build a relationship with us to ensure we succeed. We are so thankful for them!
5. Beach
Who wouldn’t be thankful to have a beach just minutes from campus? And who wouldn’t be thankful to possibly have a chance to live at the beach senior year?
6. The Small Campus
Even though saying “hi” to eight different people on your way to class can get repetitive, who doesn’t love seeing familiar faces all day everyday? And doesn’t it make you smile when Liz knows your name in The Tully? This small campus has really allowed us to form unbreakable bonds. The connections and opportunities that arise from attending Fairfield University are unbelievable.
7. The Waffle Maker in the Tully
Whenever we want a break from the typical food we eat every day, we are thankful that there is a convenient waffle maker and so many ice cream topping options to get creative with!
