Outfit inspiration for this season can be plentiful with the wonders of social media and the Internet. But sometimes all the information can be overwhelming. Here I have narrowed down some of my favorite photos for your fall lookbook from our HC San Francisco Pinterest.

  1. Big coat

It keeps you warm and cozy, hides everything you want it to hide, and looks very polished. All things bundled up into one good piece.

2. Plaid mini skirts

Sweater weather does not mean it’s not skirt weather. I think it’s really cute to wear a big chunky knit with a slim-fitting mini skirt. I also like to take advantage of clothes that are age appropriate for a young college girl. So wear that plaid mini now, because you might not be able to in a few years.

3. Sheer black tights

Ok, so maybe it’s a little too cold to just wear a skirt. Sheer black tights are the perfect way to keep your girly skirt on and stay warm. Plus, they add a sultry element to an outfit.

4. Bright sweater

Though many people would like to opt for more “fall” themed colors (like dark plums or army greens), I think it’s good to throw on a colorful piece and throw the rest of society for a loop. You’ll stick out for all the right reasons.

5. Colorful coat

Bonus! I thought I’d combine the previous look (bright sweater) with the first (big coat). This is, in my opinion, the most hardest look to pull off. You will most definitely stick out from the crowd, so this look is not for the faint of heart. Nevertheless, you gotta risk it to get the biscuit, so try it out.
