Even if Pittsburgh doesn’t want to admit it yet, it is officially fall! Which means breaking out everything pumpkin and apple spice. Here’s a compilation of 10 fall recipes to get you inspired this season.
Healthy Caramel Apple Cinnamon Waffles

Jess’s Healthy Banana Bread
This is my friend’s recipe and it’s SO delicious! It uses applesauce and plenty of banana to make a bread you won’t feel guilty about eating.
1/2 cup applesauce
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup mashed banana (3 bananas)
1/2 cup milk
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350. Grease two bread pans. Mix applesauce, sugar, eggs, bananas and milk. Add in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add in the chocolate chips. Spread evenly in the bread pans and back for 30-35 minutes.
Butternut Squash Goat Cheese Dip
Ok so if you want more ways to use squash, this is an interesting take on that trend. To all my lazy chefs, go ahead and buy some pita chips. https://www.howsweeteats.com/2015/01/butternut-squash-goat-cheese-dip/
Copycat Panera Macaroni and Cheese
Who doesn’t love Panera’s mac and cheese? But sometimes you want more than the serving they give you. That’s when you can make your own! I’d recommend using cavatappi noodles as they show in the picture because those are the noodles that Panera uses. https://www.shugarysweets.com/2014/03/copycat-panera-macaroni-cheese
Pumpkin Alfredo
Alright, I had to finish off the list with a unique pumpkin recipe. I don’t think there’s any bad way to combine pumpkin and cheese, and this recipe claims that it’s pretty healthy too! Win win situation right here. https://www.yellowblissroad.com/pumpkin-alfredo/
