Today is the day of your huge job interview. You have been preparing for this for months. You got this! Nothing can make the day bad… until you look in the mirror. Breakouts. Breakouts. Breakouts. There is nothing worse than waking up to breakouts on your face. We have all been there. But it is time for us to throw breakouts behind us. With a proper skin care routine and the right products, your skin will be ready for anything life throws at it in no time!
Skin care is a process. It is not something you can do once and instantly see results. It takes time and repetition to get the clear skin you want. Â First, you need to know the basic steps of skin care. The first step is to wash your face. This will get all the dirt and unnecessary oil out of your clogged pores to start a nice clear surface of the skin.
Second, you will need to tone your skin. Toner helps remove all the excess dirt and oil. Also, toner will minimize the appearance of pores and ultimately help stop dirt and oil from getting inside of them.
Third, you need to moisturize. Even if you have oily skin, this will help replenish and renew your skin from the over-drying of the face wash and toner. Repeat this morning and night and before you know it you’ll have beautiful glowing skin!
I have been through hell and back with my skin so I will share a few of the products that got my skin looking and feeling way better.
Aveeno Positively Radiant Brightening Cleanser: This is my go-to cleanser. It is gentle yet very effective at cleaning my skin. I have noticed the tone of my skin has evened out since I began using this product.

Glamglow Power Cleanse face wash: This is great for those with combination skin. It has a side for face wash and a side for renewing oil. You can pump as much of each side out as you want. If you need a good cleanse, use the face wash side. If you need a moisturizing renewal to your skin, use the oil side. I think it works best if you use a little bit of each side. And wow, this stuff smells amazing.

Stridex acne pads: I use these when I am really lazy and don’t feel like washing my face (we have all been there). They get all the dirt and grime off my face in one easy swipe. Caution, this product is very drying, so you will need to follow with a good moisturizer.

Mario badescu facial rose water spray: I use this stuff as a facial toner, hydrating mist, and setting spray. With all of the way you could use this amazing smelling spray, I would say it is absolutely worth the $7 that I paid for it.

Glamglow Thirstymud: Best facial hydrator ever. In one overnight use, my skin was completely hydrated. This is on the more expensive side, but my tip is to go to Sephora and get a sample of it. A little goes a long way. I highly recommend for overly dry skin.

Acne fighting moisturizer: This is a two in one deal. I have always suffered with breakouts and dry patches on my skin. This moisturizer takes care of breakouts along with adding some hydration. An acne fighting moisturizer should do the trick.

Extra tips: – Â Â Â Always use a face primer with makeup. This will minimize the look of your pores and stop makeup from getting into them which will ultimately stop breakouts. – Â Â Â Never forget to take your makeup off at night. This will allow for dirt and oil to seep in your pores overnight, which will cause breakouts. Also, imagine the makeup rubbing off on your pillow. EW! Â Happy skin care!!!
